CASE 1 – FEMALE PATIENT
This patient was unhappy with the appearance of her smile. She had upper anterior teeth with many discolored old fillings, the general colour of her teeth was dark, the gum line was irregular and she felt some of her teeth were too small.
Procedure: The teeth were bleached to begin, then recontouring the gums to even out the gum margins. Then Six Anterior porcelain crowns were placed to give the patient the look she was after.

CASE 2 – FEMALE PATIENT
The patient was unhappy with her old central crown with the dark line around the gum. The crown was too bright and opaque and because it had a mental lining she could see the dark metal margin at her gum line.
Procedure: The singe crown was replaced with an all porcelain crown that was a better shape and colour for her.

CASE 3 – MALE PATIENT
This patient was unhappy with the appearance of his teeth. He did not like the 3 old front crowns. They were too thick, too bright, and protruded our of his mouth. He also did not like the spaces between his front lower teeth.
Procedure: The teeth were first bleached. Then four porcelain crowns were placed on his upper front teeth. He also has porcelain veneers placed on his lower front teeth to close the gaps

CASE 4 – FEMALE PATIENT
This patient had very poorly maintained bonding on her upper teeth. She also complained of a gummy smile, a visible gold crown and poorly shaped teeth.
Procedure: After bleaching and gum recontouring seven porcelain crowns were placed. The result is very natural.

CASE 5 – FEMALE PATIENT
The patient was very unhappy with the colour, shape and position of her front teeth. She thought her smile was “dark and crooked”.
Procedure: Porcelain crowns were able to change the colour, shape, contour, and position of the original teeth for her.

CASE 6 – FEMALE PATIENT
The patient had very dark stained teeth from drug treatment she received as a child. She had always been extremely self conscious of her teeth and usually held her hand up when she smiled.
Procedure: Eight porcelain crowns were placed to cover up the staining. The result is quite dramatic resulting in a beautiful smile.

CASE 7 – FEMALE PATIENT
This patient was unhappy with the appearance of her teeth. The teeth were chipped and worn down; they had old fillings that were discolored. She didn’t like the shape of the teeth and decided to crown most of the teeth that were visible in a broad smile.
Procedure: Many all porcelain crowns were used to give the patient the look she was after.

CASE 8 – FEMALE PATIENT
This patient had a heavily restored mouth. At the front of her mouth she had large old bonded restorations in teeth that were very worn down. In the posterior section of her mouth she had large old silver amalgam restorations that were also breaking down. She was unhappy with the look of her teeth.
Procedure: This patient had eight porcelain crowns placed on the lower posterior teeth to replace the amalgam restorations. She also had eight porcelain crowns placed on the upper front teeth. The lower anterior teeth were just bleached before any treatment began so the colour of all the teeth could be matched.
