Dear Patients of Dr Campbell,
I am pleased to advise you that I have joined Dr. Mary Lou Campbell’ dental practice now that Dr. Campbell has decided to begin the process of reducing her work-load.
I grew-up in Vancouver and attended Lord Byng Secondary School in West Point Grey. My involvement in dentistry goes back at least 20 years, initially as a dental receptionist in a practice near here, then as a dental hygienist for 10 years, and now as a dentist for 5 years, also in West Point Grey.
I received my education in dental hygiene from New York University, after which I obtained a Master Degree in Dental Science back here at the UBC Faculty of Dentistry. I taught for a few years in dental hygiene programme at UBC, before returning for a degree in dentistry (Dental Health Sciences) from the School of Medicine and Dentistry at Griffith University in Australia. After that I returned to Vancouver to practise family dentistry in West Point Grey, and occasionally in the UBC’s Geriatric Dentistry Programme at Peace Arch Hospital.
Now that Dr. Campbell and I have brought our experiences and skills together, I look forward to meeting you and continuing the excellent care and attention that is the hall mark of this dental practice.
