Your initial visit will be scheduled for one hour and 30 minutes. During this visit, we will fill out a medical/dental history questionnaire and take x-rays and intra-oral photographs if required. Our dental hygienist will then complete a thorough oral examination. This information will enable Dr. Campbell and her hygienist to assess your personal oral hygiene requirements and determine a proper treatment or maintenance plan.
Intra-oral cameras allow the patient to see what the dentist sees (only bigger) and we find it is a wonderful teaching tool to help patients understand what is going on in their mouth. The cameras also reduce turnaround times for insurance authorizations of treatment plans.
Insurance companies today are requiring increasing amounts of information before authorizing treatment plans. “picture is worth a thousand words” – photos of the required treatment enable insurers to decide more quickly on treatment plans. Net Result: Your treatment plan will be completed sooner.

All our operatories are equipped with overhead monitors and wireless headphones so you can relax and enjoy, while we deliver your treatment.
