CASE 1 – FEMALE PATIENT
This patient lost her front tooth in an ice skating accident. The space had been filled with a removable denture tooth that moved when she talked… She was very unhappy with the appearance both of colour and obviously the movement.
Procedure:
The teeth were first bleached to get them all the same colour. Then a single implant was placed and a porcelain crown on top. The result is very good. If you did not know a tooth had been missing you would never guess that anything had been done.

CASE 2 – FEMALE PATIENT
This patient had an impacted canine tooth that never erupted into her mouth and had caused some trouble so needed to be extracted. Two teeth required removal leaving a large defect. The challenge was to replace the teeth and create a natural smile.
Procedure:
To avoid cutting down the remaining teeth for a bridge and to help fill the bone defect of the extraction site implants were used. First the bone had to be filled and some gum work to receive the implants, as well braces were placed to put the teeth in the correct position. Two implants were placed after the braces were removed and the final result made the patient very happy.
